Rachel Erickson

President: Rachel Erickson is Head of Learning & Engagement at the Manitoba Museum in Winnipeg, Canada, where she oversees the design, development, and delivery of learning programmes in the Museum Galleries, Science Gallery, and Planetarium. She was the CAM Curatorial Intern (World Cultures) at Glasgow Museums from 2013-2014, where she assisted in the organisation of the 2014 CAM Triennial Symposium and worked on an outreach project with Glasgow’s South Asian community focusing on contemporary art from India. She stayed on in Glasgow as an Outreach Assistant with the Open Museum, working to connect the museum collection with diverse and underrepresented communities. Previously, she worked at the Winnipeg Art Gallery and interned at the Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhood. She has an MA in Museum Cultures from Birkbeck, University of London (UK) and a BA from the University of Winnipeg. Rachel was most recently Co-Chair for the CAM Triennial in Cape Town, and is working to help expand CAM’s virtual workshop and networking opportunities.
