Dr Shabnam Inanloo Dailoo

Treasurer: Dr Shabnam Inanloo Dailoo is Associate Professor and Director of the Heritage Resources Management Program at Athabasca University. Her research interests include cultural landscapes, Indigenous cultural places, values-based management, community engagement, and intangible cultural heritage. During her post-doctoral research with the Canada Research Chair on Built Heritage, she examined the application of a values-based approach in the management of landscapes that are culturally significant. She has extensive experience working on cultural landscapes and has researched Indigenous worldviews and traditions. Shabnam was a member of the Ministerial Advisory Committee for the updating of Canada’s Tentative List for World Heritage and a board member of the Alberta Historical Resources Foundation. She serves as Co-Chair of the National Trust for Canada’s National Roundtable on Heritage Education and the Coordinator of the Canadian Chapter of the Association of Critical Heritage Studies. She is looking forward to continuing to contribute to CAM’s mission and its resounding success serving its community members.
