Vice-President: Nirvana S. Persaud joined the National Trust (Guyana) in 2003 as a Researcher and in 2010 became the first Chief Executive Officer. She holds an MA in World Heritage Management from the University of Turin, (2010), a BA in History (2002) and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Studies (2004) from the University of Guyana, two Professional Specialization Certificates in Collections Management (2017) and Heritage Conservation Planning (2007) and a Diploma in Cultural Resource Management (2008) all from the University of Victoria, Canada. She is a UNESCO Fellow and was trained in the 1972 World Heritage Convention, preparation of nomination dossiers and world heritage management. She currently CAM Vice President. Nirvana brings to CAM her 17 years’ experience in the cultural heritage sector in Guyana, the Caribbean and further afield. She previously served on the Guyana National Museum’s Advisory Board. She has served as a local tutor and is interested in helping to revise the CAM DLP as well as Chair the Membership Committee. ed!
