UPCOMING EVENTS
WEDNESDAY APRIL 22, 2026
CAM is excited to be partnering with the Museum Ethnographers Group (UK) to co-host an in-person, one-day “Repatriation Roundtables” workshop on Wednesday April 22nd 2026. The event will be held in Oxford, UK, at Linacre College, as a pre-conference workshop to MEG’s annual conference.
The workshop will provide an opportunity for peer-to-peer learning, support, and sharing, with roundtable discussions on topics such as contested claims, caring for ancestral remains, developing policies and procedures, etc. As with all CAM events, we value openness, transparency, and compassion as we help one another work through what can be a very challenging aspect of our work. We are looking forward to this exciting knowledge sharing opportunity!

We are planning a pre-workshop gathering in London, UK on Tuesday April 21st, at Marlborough House – the headquarters of the Commonwealth Secretariat. This special gathering will be for current CAM members only; if you are interested in attending, please email commonwealthmuseums@gmail.com with your RSVP as soon as possible, as space is limited.
We will host a concurrent online event with our Board Elections session during the gathering. Agenda and registration to follow.
